Q: What is IV Therapy?

A: Drip IV Therapy offers vitamin infused blends to optimize repair, recovery, and rehydration on the cellular level and delivers straight to your door. Q: How does IV Therapy work?

A: Intravenous (IV) fluid drips deliver saline solution through a small catheter and tubing directly into the bloodstream. This solution usually includes medications and vitamin supplements that are tailored to the individual patient.

During therapy, the nurse inserts an IV line which is attached to a bag of saline solution. The bag is then hung above the patient’s head. IV therapy bags are designed to let gravity, as opposed to a syringe or other forced technique, carry fluid into the veins over time. The duration of a single treatment varies from person to person but typically lasts 35 – 45 minutes.

Q: Who will be performing the treatment?

A: All of our treatments are administered by licensed Registered Nurses (RN) who are trained and experienced in administering IV treatments. They are supervised by our Medical Director Dr. Diwomo

About the Practice

John Dimowo, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and regenerative medicine specialist at California Pain & Wellness Physicians in Ontario, California. He has experience in many areas of medicine, including obstetrical and cardiac anesthesia. He’s also knowledgeable about functional medicine and aesthetics.

His interest in pain management medicine arose out of personal experience for treatment of his chronic back pain from herniation and degenerative lumbar disc. Dr. Dimowo was contemplating minimally invasive laminectomy and discectomy for pain relief.

After earning his medical degree at the University of Ibadan College of Medicine in Ibadan, Nigeria, the premier medical school of the West African region, Dr. Dimowo went on to complete his internship at the Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital in Kano, Nigeria.

He then practiced general medicine for five years in Nigeria before migrating to the United States to complete an internship in pediatrics at the Medical College of Ohio (now The University of Toledo), in Toledo, Ohio. Dr. Dimowo completed his residency training in anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by fellowship training in Obstetrics Anesthesiology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
